Ahura Aqua designs and manufactures condensate polishing units for high-pressure boiler & steam-cycle applications, where returned condensate must be purified before it re-enters the boiler feed water circuit.

By restoring condensate to feed-water quality, our CPUs protect boiler tubes & turbine blades, stabilise steam-water cycle chemistry and sharply reduce the demand for fresh DM make-up water.

WHY IT MATTERS

Closing the Steam-Water Loop

Returned condensate picks up suspended iron & copper oxide scoured off pipework, plus dissolved sodium, silica and chloride. Left untreated this scales boiler tubes, deposits on turbine blades and drives up cycle conductivity. A CPU intercepts the return, strips both loads and sends polished, low-conductivity condensate back to the deaerator — lifting recovery and cutting fresh DM demand.

HOW IT WORKS

Condensate Inlet & Pre-Filtration

Returned condensate passes through strainers, cartridge or powdered-resin precoat filters that capture suspended iron & copper oxide, rust and fine colloidal corrosion products before the ion-exchange stage.

Cation / Anion Exchange

Dissolved ions — sodium, chloride, sulphate and hardness leakage — are removed across selected cation & anion resin beds, bringing down ionic contamination and conductivity.

Mixed-Bed Resin Polishing

A mixed bed delivers the final polish for silica, sodium and conductivity, producing high-purity condensate fit for return to the boiler feed circuit.

Monitoring, Regeneration & Return

Online conductivity (and optional silica / sodium) instrumentation guides service, rinse & regeneration. Exhausted resin is regenerated with acid & caustic; automated units run valves, regeneration and alarms on a PLC.
