Pulp & paper mills are among the highest consumers of treated raw water — water turns fibres such as cellulose, wood, hemp, recycled paper, bagasse, bamboo and rice stalk into pulp. At the same time, paper manufacturing generates some of the worst-quality wastewater of any industry.

High-quality, consistent treated water for the pulping and paper-forming process — suspended loads, hardness and microbial content removed so fibre quality and machine runnability stay high.

Recovering treated wastewater delivers major savings in both operational and capital cost. The remaining concentrated, untreatable stream is evaporated via Multi-Effect Evaporation (MEE) or Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) — achieving complete ZLD and resolving the disposal & regulatory burden mills face.
