Reliable, residue-free disinfection that never alters the pH or chemistry of the water — a natural fit within purified-water & WFI loops, ahead of RO & EDI, and across general process-water duties.

Continuous In-Loop Disinfection for PW / WFI

In pharmaceutical purified-water & WFI loops, UV provides continuous in-loop disinfection and controls organisms such as Pseudomonas — helping facilities meet GMP & regulatory requirements. For these duties chambers are supplied in electropolished SS316L and built to ASME BPE hygienic norms.

Microbial Disinfection

Germicidal UV-C inactivates bacteria, viruses, moulds & algae — chemical-free sterilization.
185 nm

TOC Reduction

185 nm lamps photo-oxidise organics to drive down total organic carbon in high-purity water.
254 nm

Ozone Destruction

Breaks down residual ozone at the outlet of an ozonation step before downstream use.
UV-C

Dechlorination

Photolyses free chlorine to protect chlorine-sensitive RO membranes & EDI modules.
HOW IT WORKS

Germicidal Exposure

Water flows through a stainless-steel chamber where UV-C light disrupts the DNA & RNA of micro-organisms, preventing replication — purely physical, with no chemicals and no chlorinated by-products.

Quartz-Sleeved Lamps

Each lamp sits in a quartz sleeve that stays dry while transmitting UV. Sleeves can be wiped and the chamber cleaned without breaking the main water line.

Dose & Monitoring

A UV-intensity sensor, lamp-failure alarm and run-hour metering report performance, so the operator always knows the delivered dose and log reduction.

Dose = UV Intensity × Residence Time

Each chamber is sized to the required flow & target log reduction.
